How We Started
One godown, one weighing scale, and a promise to pay fair.
SunAgro opened in 2011 as a single input counter in the Dhandari Kalan industrial belt of Ludhiana, run by a small team who'd grown up around the local mandi. The idea was simple: sell farmers only what their soil actually needed, and when harvest came, weigh it honestly and pay on the spot.
That principle is still how we operate. We've added seed varieties, machinery, a soil lab and an export desk since — but every decision gets tested against the same question we started with: does this actually help the grower in front of us?
